TRA500 MIU for Walk-by and Drive-by Systems
The TRA500 is a Meter Interface Unit (MIU) that can easily be fitted or retrofitted to most pulse meters, with its only external connection being the meter itself.? It includes a self-contained Radio Frequency (RF) transmitter/receiver, and once installed, listens for a signal from the TRA501. On hearing this signal, the TRA500 transmits its meter’s reading, along with any alarm notifications. The same MIU can be used for Walk-by and Drive-by systems, so upgrading from a pedestrian-based to a vehicle-based system is straightforward and cost -effective.
